The Configuration Manager must involve in planning for handing over the Technology Asset And Configuration Management
activites to the client or the new serive provider. This would involve identifying tasks and actions necessary for a smooth
transition of the Technology Asset And Configuration Management activities. The planning should include identification of
handover items, timescales for handover, and handover of the responsibility. The key resources to be involved in handover
activity, along with roles and responsibility should also be identified.
Technology Asset And Configuration Management handover activities must be conducted as planned. As the Service Engagement
closes, there could be certain open actions related to technology assets or configuration items. These outstanding actions
should to be handed over appropriately.
Capgemini must archive the documents,reports and data pertainig to Technology Asset And Configuration Management as per
standard archival process. The Engagement Manager must obtain Client sign-off on the handover activities for the formal
closure of Technology Asset And Configuration Management process.
